I did this plein air painting last year while I was in Carmel. It is one of my favorite places. I am going to go paint there again next month. I plan to paint there everyday for a month. Sounds like heaven to me. I am awed by the beauty of the coast line and the whole area. It will be interesting to compare the paintings I did last year with the ones this year.
Karen, found your site through Carol Marine's posts. Love your loose style and choice of color palette. I'm so impressed with those of you that paint plein air, a hardy bunch! It's a direction that I would like to take, but not until this Texas weather gets out of the 100's...or maybe even cooler than that! A month in Carmel, wow, now that's envy for the rest of us!
